A course both for complete beginners and those with a little past experience of screen printing. The course will guide you through the processes that go into making a screenprint, from developing artwork and using layers, using stencils and transferring artwork to a screen using photo emulsion, and printing, which includes mixing colour, using transparent colours, and print alignment. You will come out the the course with a good understanding of these processes and a group of your own colourful screen prints.
Simon Tozer has a degree in Fine Art and an MA in Printmaking from Chelsea College of Art. He has been screen printing for over 30 years, and teaching screen printing for 18 years. He uses painting, drawing and screen printing to create visual stories that are both humorous and personal.
