These online sessions with Ruth Ander are perfect for kickstarting your mark-making mojo. This course is a great way to learn what you can create even when you can’t make it to the studio. Work created can also feed directly into making prints with a press (collage) and development of other work
Session 1: An introduction to hand mono-printing at home: making beautiful marks and textures
Homework: to find interesting items to make stamps with.
Session 2: Making and using home-made stamps and stencils: experimenting with repeat pattern
Homework: to find nature objects to print with
Session 3: Botanical printing at home: making stunning prints with nature objects
Each session will build on the last, so that participants can create layered, textured and bold prints to either mount and frame or use as collage or in other artworks.
