RWA 161st Annual Open Exhibition

Here are a few of our members and their work who participated in this year’s RWA autumn show. Thank you to Laura Howarth for documenting the varnishing.

Christine Howes print, ‘ The Old Apple Tree’, was inspired by a tree laden with apples last summer that she sketched in Cornwall. It is printed from two vinyl blocks and was printed on the Gem Press at Spike Print Studio. It has been hung next to a painting by Kurt Jackson and close to Prince Charles work! Christine says, ‘It is wonderful to see my work hanging next to such artistic royalty and royalty indeed, and I have long been an admirer of Kurt Jacksons’ work.”
