For  over 45 years, Spike Print Studio in Bristol has been a space for artists to make prints. Our mission is to provide exceptional resources, inspiration, training and space for artists and by doing so, to advance printmaking and educate the public in print.    Membership enquiries are always high and our innovative learning programme for the public is very well attended and often oversubscribed.  We support training and professional development for students and work closely with University of the West of England.

The  studio publishes high quality and innovative contemporary limited edition prints, working with international artists such as Eric Baudlelaire, Melissa Gordon, Richard Long, Ged Quinn, Sonia Boyce, Mariele Neudecker  and  Wood & Harrison. This, coupled with a rich Learning Programme, makes the studio an exciting and rewarding place to be in where you can meet engaged and diverse members.

Please support our work and that of the members who work here.

We are a registered charity and do not receive any core funding.  Our costs to keep the equipment and administration operating to a high standard continue to grow.  We run a wide range of exciting courses, workshops and talks which are available to all. We promote our members work through curated exhibitions and our website.  If you like to have a closer relationship with us, our exhibitions and learning programme, please consider becoming an Affiliate of Spike Print Studio.
