5-week Collagraph with George Hounsome

This workshop is ideal for beginners, those with some print experience, as well as people who have participated in the 5-week Collagraph course and would like to come back in for a refresh or to develop their prints further.

Collagraph is an easy and accessible introduction to intaglio printmaking that produces exciting shapes and textures.

A Collagraph print is made from a cardboard plate that can be cut and peeled, and collaged with different textures.  It is an incredibly versatile way and appeals to many artists and suits how they work.

You will be introduced to a range of approaches to making a collagraph, including materials and supports; various methods of plate construction; basic and advanced inking techniques. Set your imagination free.
