A fantastic opportunity to work with established artist and printmaker Chitra Merchant.
This 3-day workshop introduces you to the far reaching possibilities of screenprining.
You will explore the many ways images can be created for screenprinting including using impressions and traces of flowers, leaves, twigs, hand-drawn stencils, photographic, photocopied or computer-generated images.
You will learn how to prepare and expose your images onto a light sensitive screen stencil and learn how to print your image in several colours onto paper.
You will produce multi coloured prints to take home.
This workshop is ideal for beginners, those with some print experience, as well as people who are looking to develop their practise in new direction.
