Introduction to Tetra Pak Printmaking – Stephen Fowler
£100
With its layers of paperboard, polyethylene and aluminum foil, Tetra Pak offers not only an immediacy which other collagraph materials lack, but also a satisfying tactility when cutting, scoring, peeling and printing with this distinctive material. In recycling milk, soup and custard cartons; exciting imaginative creative responses abound. The structure of the packaging can be the spark of an idea or integrated into a motif. Large prints can be created when collaging Tetra Pak plates together.
During this Tetra Pak collagraph workshop, the course tutor, Stephen Fowler, will facilitate the exploration of intaglio and relief print, a combination of the two processes, and you will also learn how to integrate Chine Collé with your Tetra Pak prints.
