Auction!

Ever wanted to own an original print by an internationally famous artist? Spike Print Studio, as part of the OPEN STUDIOS event at Bristol’s Spike Island, is holding –

A one day only original print auction on Sunday 1 May at 4pm.

Artists who have donated prints to the auction include internationally renowned artist/printmakers Norman Ackroyd and Emma Stibbon. The quality will be high, the bidding process exciting – the event itself could form part of an interesting and thought provoking visit to the Print Studio. Viewing from 7pm Friday 29 April.  Leave a sealed bid.

Also as part of the SPIKE ISLAND OPEN STUDIOS this year there will be the opportunity to MAKE A PRINT for a £1, an exhibition of studio members’ prints and a specially curated print exhibition exploring ideas around the concept of HOME.

The Open Studios event will run at Spike Island from  Sat 30 April to Monday 2 May. Open from 11-5pm. Entrance free. Opening evening Friday 29 7-9

Proceeds from the auction are in support of new studio equipment to benefit members and classes.
