Member Technician

This scheme continues to be an excellent opportunity for our members who, in return for 3 hours work supporting the Studio Technicians, receive keyholder membership, training, materials credit and a learning programme credit- its value the equivalent of the living wage.

Many of our MTs go on to further their artistic career and apply for MA or post graduate courses or technician posts in colleges and universities.  

Young Person Technician

Our first young person technician joined us October  2017 for 2 months work experience and enjoyed it so much we offered him a role for 10 months. This enabled us to design a 3 month young person technician position which  are now offered to community organisations and establishments in Bristol and surrounding area.  We  focus on young people who would not normally access these opportunities.
