Takuhon Workshop:the original 3D printing with Jess Bugler

£110

POSTPONED UNTIL AUTUMN 2023

Saturday 4 February 2023

10am-4pm

Led by Artist Jess Bugler, this workshop offers the chance to try the ancient Japanese art of Takuhon, the original 3D print. It was originally used to record carved religious inscriptions without damaging the surface. Objects that would be impossible to put through the press are easy to print with Takuhon. Participants will learn how to make Tampo pads and then create 3D prints of a series of objects using fine Gasenshi paper and delicately dabbed Sumi ink.

All materials included.

Jess Bugler is an award winning artist and r became an Elected member of Royal Cambrian Academy in 2021.
