On Paper Contest
4th ANNUAL ‘ON PAPER’ INTERNATIONAL PRINTMAKING AWARD 2018
This year 260 artists from 48 different countries have participated in the ON PAPER contest. All the submisions are visible online at onpapercontest.com. The show with the shortlisted artists take place every year in a different location. This year we have the pleasure to show ON PAPER shortlisted artists in the Spike Print Studio. An international jury have chosen the selection that is shown in this exhibition. Among this selection, there is the winners of the award.
ON PAPER is a project based in Barcelona, with the aim of promoting the art of printmaking and developing connections between printmakers around the world.
The shortlisted artists for the On PAPER Award 2018 will be exhibited in the Spike Print Studio at Spike Island, Bristol (UK) in July 2018. The On Paper Award first prize is 1000€. The second prize, 300€, will be for the print with the most creative printing process. The Awagami Factory sponsors The Awagami Paper Award – 100 sheets of Awagami editioning paper worth 500€.
