5-week Intro to Drypoint & Etching with Steph Renshaw

Beginning with drypoint, we will explore mark-making, using line, tone and texture to create atmospheric and tactile prints.

This course will teach you how to ink up, print and experiment with colour. You will produce your own collection of printing plates and prints.

We will move on to etching so that you can be introduced to this traditional printmaking process. You will be able compare and contrast the results and the feel of these two similar but distinct methods.

Will use the very best inks and materials, including using ‘BIG’ ground – an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional etching grounds.
