Mix it Up Taster Sessions: Drypoint with Martyn Grimmer

Drypoint is an intaglio/etching process which does not use any chemicals.  Using a sharp point you can scratch, draw or gouge into the drypoint card or Perspex to create rich tones & velvety surfaces.

Who could be your role model for drypoint? Rembrandt, Durer, Bruegel or coming right up to date William Kentridge with his extraordinary exploration of dystopia and displacement and Vija Celmins with beautiful soulful seascapes.
