We are pleased to have Jacqui Symons from Slow Lane Studio  running this rich  and absorbing online  workshop.  Over the course of two weeks, learn how to make water-based inks from plants, including both classic dye plants and plants you can forage for in the UK.  Jacqui will teach you how to make a dye solution, how to reduce and concentrate the liquid, and how to use modifiers, preservatives and binders in your ink.  These inks are suitable for drawing, painting, colouring paper and printing with small blocks and stamps.  Whilst we won’t be making oil-based inks during this online course, it will give you a good grounding in how to start using natural colour in your artwork.
