Enjoy this pre Christmas workshop with Wuon Gean Ho, an incredible artist who makes extraordinary books, prints and animations. You will have an amazing time.
Japanese vinyl is similar to linoleum, though easier to carve. It is possible to ink the vinyl in really interesting ways, including putting ink into the grooves (intaglio printing) as well as more traditionally on the surface (relief printing), or even both at the same time! We will use traditional relief printing tools to make a wide range of marks and use colourful and transparent inks to print in experimental ways.
Come ready to learn new rules (then bend or break them) and to explore all the possibilities of the medium.
