Spike Print Studio at Spike Open 2024

Join us for the Spike Open, 2024!

Between 3rd and 5th May, we are opening our doors to the public so you can get a look at what goes on inside our studio. We have a whole host of events including several exhibitions of member’s artwork, a raffle, a market stall, a lucky dip and demonstrations in screen printing, letterpress and more.

Find out how to become a member, see the amazing editions we print for external artists including Luke Jerram, Ged Quinn and Ben Eine, and discover our varied workshops and courses on offer in a wide range of processes.

Our current Peter Reddick bursary scholar, Lee Nutland, will be displaying an exhibition of works in progress, while previous scholar, Prerna Chandiramani, will be showing an installation of her work completed on the bursary.

A number of our artists including Libby Lloyd, Chitra Merchant and Sarah Duncan have donated artwork for a Raffle, of which tickets will be available to purchase shortly as well as during the open. We will also have a lucky dip of artworks to purchase which promise to be a lot of fun and a fantastic bargain.

Print demonstrations will be taking place over the weekend where you can watch our printers make magic on our presses. Keep an eye on our Instagram page to find out when they are happening!
